Ingredients:
- 500g boneless chicken
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups tomato puree
- 1 tbsp garam masala
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Marinate the Chicken:
In a bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, and spices (turmeric, chili powder, salt).
Add chicken to the marinade and coat well. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
2. Cook the Chicken:
Heat butter in a pan and add the marinated chicken. Cook until browned and fully cooked.
3. Prepare the Sauce:
In the same pan, add tomato puree and cook for 5 minutes.
Add cream, garam masala, and cooked chicken. Simmer for 10 minutes.
4. Serve:
Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with naan or basmati rice.
Tips:
- To enhance flavor, grill the marinated chicken before adding it to the sauce.
- Use kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves) for an authentic taste.
